Additive Manufacturing Equipment & Process Manager (LPBF)

Salary: $152,821–$210,129 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own the laser powder bed fusion equipment fleet, including maintenance scheduling, performance monitoring, and lifecycle planning.
• Lead machine operators, maintenance technicians, contractors, and external service personnel.
• Develop and qualify process parameters across alloy systems from initial development through production release.
• Drive new product development by translating part requirements into qualified, production-ready processes.
• Plan and execute production builds, coordinating schedules, powder inventory, and shared equipment.
• Manage equipment and powder suppliers while improving yield, build quality, machine utilization, and process documentation.

Requirements

• STEM degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct laser powder bed fusion experience, including process parameter development and new product introduction.
• Hands-on experience developing and qualifying parts in high-performance alloy systems.
• Experience leading technical teams, including contractors or external vendors.
• Experience with vendor management and production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills for aligning engineering, operations, and external partners.
