Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

What you will do

• Architect, design, and implement Java backend solutions for new features and products.
• Own end-to-end development projects from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Optimize databases and microservices for high performance, scalability, and reliability under high traffic.
• Conduct code reviews and establish coding, testing, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps on high-quality releases.
• Diagnose production issues, implement long-term fixes, and prevent downtime or regressions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including database performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to independently lead projects from concept to deployment and troubleshoot complex production systems.
