Production Shift Manager (FMCG)

What you will do

• Lead the production team and deliver the production plan while maintaining quality, output, and waste targets.
• Own shift health and safety standards, conduct daily audits, investigate accidents and near misses, and close corrective actions.
• Maintain GMP, hygiene, and IMS standards across cooking, cleaning, and equipment operations.
• Manage labour planning, holidays, absences, training, SOP compliance, and staff development.
• Lead continuous-improvement and problem-solving initiatives that improve performance and generate savings.
• Coordinate handovers and production plans with procurement, planning, People, Engineering, Technical, Warehouse, and Order Fulfilment teams.

Requirements

• Strong production background in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing operation.
• Leadership experience and broad knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
• Planning, organisation, scheduling, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Pragmatic, adaptable, resilient, humble, approachable, action-oriented, and results-driven.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced production environment and build operations from the ground up.
