Production Team Leader (Brighter Foods) - THG Manufacturing

Location: Brighter Foods, Pendre Industrial Estate, Tywyn, UK. Onsite work on a 4-on-4-off day shift pattern from 6:00 to 18:00.

Food manufacturing operations producing nutrition and wellness products, including snack bars, powders, capsules, and tablets.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a small team of production and technical operatives.
• Coordinate daily production plans, shift changeovers, and effective handovers.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, food hygiene, quality, and right-first-time production.
• Monitor machine safety checks, documentation, waste management, labour utilisation, and daily line outputs.
• Support KPI delivery, continuous improvement, and strategic production objectives.
• Produce standard operating procedures for assigned machines and production areas.

Requirements

• Experience working with and managing a small team in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of health and safety, HR procedures, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to set objectives, manage KPIs, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication, numeracy, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Flexible, self-motivated, organised, and able to learn quickly.
