Manager of Factory Integration Engineering

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite engineering role.

Annual base salary: $133,900–$184,100, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a specialized factory integration engineering team, including career growth and performance management.
• Define factory integration roadmaps, identify operational constraints and high-cost labor areas, and track OEE across production facilities.
• Develop engineered solutions that balance throughput and other factory performance KPIs.
• Align factory designs and capacity planning with company strategy and new product requirements.
• Establish continuous improvements for engineering standards, processes, and factory architecture.
• Partner with executives, program management, customer management, and internal leadership teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, strategic planning, or industrial systems development in high-stakes, high-precision production environments.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects, defining functional requirements, or directly managing engineering personnel.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Expert knowledge of automation, discrete event simulation, Python scripting, material flow planning, and 2D/3D factory CAD systems.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or driving highly automated, high-throughput lights-out manufacturing initiatives.
• Familiarity with metal additive manufacturing, powder-bed fusion automation, and advanced post-processing operations.
