Engineering Manager, Factory Core

Location: Los Angeles, California; on-site

Salary: $220,000–$280,000 per year

What you will do

• Own one or more Factory Core business domains end-to-end, including product outcomes, engineering execution, and operational health.
• Lead systems supporting manufacturing execution, shop-floor operations, inventory, and warehouse management across factories.
• Hire, develop, and retain engineers while setting clear performance and career-development standards.
• Act as a hands-on player-coach by leading architecture and design reviews, writing production code, and responding to incidents.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to shape, sequence, and deliver the roadmap.
• Improve planning, design, code review, testing, deployment, on-call, and incident-response practices.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of engineering management experience leading product engineering teams in production, with a strong full-stack engineering background.
• Experience owning business-critical product domains, including technical strategy, prioritization, delivery, and operations.
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineers.
• Experience with distributed systems in production and an understanding of services, data flows, and team boundaries.
• Ability to read, review, and write production code and lead architecture discussions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.
