VP Manufacturing

Location: Austin, Texas; ideal locations include Holtsville, NY; Austin, TX; Lincolnshire, IL; and Morris Plains, NJ.

Salary: $231,360–$347,040 annual, plus target annual cash incentive of 35% of base pay.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies across internal plants, contract manufacturers, and external partners.
• Lead a multi-regional production network covering capacity planning, optimization, automation, sustainability, cost, margin, throughput, and capital investment.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational KPIs, productivity, scrap reduction, quality governance, and compliance with GS1, ISO, and industry standards.
• Lead manufacturing roadmaps for thermal printing compatibility, RFID and sensor converting, linerless technologies, sustainable materials, inspection, and automation.
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, and Sales to commercialize new materials and manufacturing capabilities and translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Build and mentor a global operations leadership team while fostering safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing supply chain, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global manufacturing and operations management.
• 7+ years in a senior executive role, such as VP or Senior Director, managing multi-site international manufacturing facilities across regions including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Experience in global technology manufacturing involving hardware devices and specialized materials.
• Experience managing large-scale P&L and capital budgets, contract manufacturers, and global suppliers.
• Strong crisis leadership, business acumen, cultural awareness, executive coaching, and talent-development capabilities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Master Black Belt or advanced Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• Experience applying AI initiatives to manufacturing efficiency and training.
