TL;DR
Program Lead (AMT) (Automation and Manufacturing): Leading the automation strategy and technical direction for a new electronics center of excellence from launch through full-scale production, with an accent on controls, process, and automation engineering. Focus on guiding system design, managing end-to-end program delivery, and coordinating cross-functional execution across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Location: United States; work is based at one of three sites: Solon, Ohio; Hollister, California; or Chandler, Arizona. Travel is up to 10% annually when based in Solon and up to 50% when based in Hollister or Chandler.

Salary: $125,000–$232,440 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

  • Set the technical strategy and roadmap for the Solon site's automation program from launch through full-scale production.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the automation system design and development team.
  • Manage end-to-end program delivery, including scope, resources, timelines, risks, and execution.
  • Provide technical leadership across controls, manufacturing process, and automation engineering.
  • Guide system design decisions involving robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, other sites, and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in automation, controls, or manufacturing process engineering, including program or project leadership.
  • Experience in electronics, aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of controls, robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with program or project planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and end-to-end execution.
  • U.S. citizenship or other U.S. Person status is required for contractual export-control requirements, unless the necessary U.S. government authorization can be obtained.
