TL;DR

Location: Washington, DC office; U.S. government export-control eligibility required

Salary: $135,000–$185,000 annually, plus equity

hirify.global is a Series C startup developing mass-producible, inherently safe microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications as part of its clean-energy and space-expansion mission.

What you will do

  • Build and manage an international business-development opportunity pipeline and recommend priority markets.
  • Develop market-entry strategies covering customer needs, government priorities, regulatory pathways, financing, local partnerships, and competition.
  • Build relationships with governments, defense and energy ministries, regulators, utilities, contractors, private companies, and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate proposals, customer presentations, partnership structures, commercial agreements, financing approaches, regulatory strategies, and internal approvals.
  • Support senior leadership through customer engagements, negotiations, government meetings, and deal closure.
  • Monitor market, policy, procurement, regulatory, and financing developments and convert them into business-development recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience involving international governments, international customers, or business development, preferably in energy or defense.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across government and commercial stakeholders and advance complex, multi-party opportunities.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally.
  • Ability to work from the Washington, DC office.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations under export regulations.

Nice to have

  • MBA or master’s degree in international affairs or national security studies.
  • Experience with government agreements, regulatory strategy, project financing, commercial negotiations, and international market-entry planning.
  • Experience supporting senior executives through complex negotiations and commercial deal processes.
  • Ability to explain complex science, technology, energy, defense, regulatory, and financial concepts clearly to varied audiences.
  • Foreign-language proficiency.
