Software Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Build and maintain multiple high-performance software engineering teams.
• Develop roadmaps, define delivery goals, and achieve them within agreed timelines.
• Communicate with stakeholders across the business and collaborate with product managers and other teams.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to software engineers.
• Establish strong engineering practices and maintain high software quality standards.
• Cultivate a healthy team culture centered on company values.

Requirements

• Experience leading software development teams and managing large-scale web software.
• Experience in agile environments with continuous delivery and strong communication skills.
• Strong ownership, self-management, troubleshooting, creative problem-solving, and ability to learn new technologies.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to engage with senior architects on technical plans and designs.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience managing multiple software engineering teams.
• Cloud computing experience, preferably AWS.
• Experience with service-oriented, microservices, and containerization architectures.
• Experience developing public-facing APIs and using modern JavaScript frameworks or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of computer networking, OWASP, and web security practices.
