Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Mainframe)

What you will do

• Lead global software engineering and quality assurance teams delivering complex products and product lines.
• Set direction for software design, feature implementation, testing, defect correction, and new product development.
• Engage executive leadership on strategic product development and quality goals.
• Guide customer-requirement reviews, design meetings, peer code reviews, and delivery against requirements.
• Build and onboard regional development and testing teams while coaching and mentoring team members.
• Coordinate timely bug-fix releases and collaboration with global technical support and engineering groups.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience managing teams of technical engineers.
• Experience with mainframe technologies.
• Proven success leading globally dispersed teams.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong customer advocacy and ability to translate internal and external input into product requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across organizational levels and geographies.
