Engineering Manager, Machines4U

What you will do

• Own engineering execution for Machines4U across product development, platform reliability, engineering practices, and delivery cadence.
• Translate business priorities into a sequenced engineering roadmap and deliver against commercial outcomes.
• Lead a distributed engineering team while maintaining technical and behavioural standards.
• Partner with product and hirify.global engineering counterparts to shape the technology landscape.
• Modernise the technology stack while balancing legacy platform stability with scalable, secure systems.
• Oversee integrations, third-party dependencies, security, reliability, compliance, risk management, and senior leadership updates.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams in a product-led, commercially driven environment, ideally in a marketplace or B2B SaaS context.
• Strong technical depth across modern backend and frontend web stacks, cloud infrastructure, and API design.
• Experience creating engineering roadmaps tied to business outcomes and operating across legacy and modern technology environments.
• Ability to review architecture, unblock engineers, assess quality, and balance delivery pace with security, reliability, and scalability standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Full-time Australian working rights and successful completion of a National Police Record check are required.
