Fullstack Developer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco, CA

Krea AI is building next-generation AI creative tools designed to make AI intuitive and controllable for human expression.

What you will do

• Build and maintain APIs and UI flows using SvelteKit and TypeScript.
• Design interactive, responsive frontend experiences including animations and real-time canvas polish.
• Optimize frontend performance, including minimizing render latency and managing WebSocket image streams.
• Design and maintain backend services using Node, Postgres, and Redis.
• Develop a Public API to serve AI models to millions of developers.
• Implement enterprise features such as Audit Logs, SAML/SSO, and SCIM provisioning.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a full-stack JS/TS engineer with a strong frontend focus.
• Proficiency in SvelteKit or similar modern frameworks and real-time UI via WebSockets.
• Experience designing APIs, database schemas, and caching strategies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and scaling, including Kubernetes, Postgres, and Redis.
• Must be able to work full-time and in-person at the San Francisco office.
• Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates (e.g., STEM OPT, H-1B, O-1).

Nice to have

• Prior work on enterprise auth features or GPU workloads.
• Experience with ML or image/video generation pipelines.
• Side projects or open-source contributions in UI or infrastructure.
