Lead Product Manager, Identity & Evidence Verification

Location: New York, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $300,000–$350,000 per year, including base salary and new-hire equity in Restricted Stock Units, with potential refresh equity grants.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the identity and evidence platform across hirify.global+ and hirify.global1.
• Build reusable proofing, verification, evidence storage, auditability, and identity services across mobile, web, airport, and partner experiences.
• Advance source verification, identity assurance, signals, fraud prevention, and alignment with NIST IAL2/IAL3 frameworks.
• Improve cost per verification, success rates, fallback orchestration, resiliency, and performance in real-time, high-scale environments.
• Establish data integrity, traceability, reporting, alerting, audit tooling, and proactive regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, and external partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in identity, fintech, security, or highly regulated environments.
• Strong technical fluency across backend systems, APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Deep understanding of identity proofing, authentication, fraud systems, document verification, biometrics, device intelligence, and data corroboration.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-63 or equivalent identity assurance frameworks.
• Experience defining and executing multi-quarter strategies across complex systems, with strong analytical, measurement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance customer experience, security, compliance, business goals, cost structures, and efficiency improvements.
