TL;DR
Product Manager (Cybersecurity): Owning and driving mission-critical products for offensive cyber operations, translating operational needs into scalable software with an accent on product strategy, technical requirements, and deployment in constrained environments. Focus on balancing rapid delivery with durable platform capabilities, shaping backend-heavy and AI-driven products, and making high-impact tradeoffs for users operating under pressure.

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States. U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance are required.

Base salary: $161,000–$225,000 annually. Estimated total compensation: $245,000–$389,000 annually, including target bonus and estimated equity value.

What you will do

  • Own product vision, strategy, and execution for one or more mission-critical capabilities.
  • Work with engineers to define requirements, scope, priorities, and delivery sequencing.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to understand workflows, constraints, and practical success criteria.
  • Translate complex technical and operational needs into clear requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Support products deployed in bespoke, constrained, and air-gapped infrastructure environments.
  • Align engineering, operations, and leadership on product decisions and tradeoffs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building products.
  • Experience as a Product Manager or in a closely related role with meaningful product ownership.
  • Experience planning and prioritizing roadmaps with technical leads and engineering leadership.
  • Strong technical fluency across architecture, tradeoffs, feasibility, and delivery risk.
  • Experience shipping complex products in high-stakes, ambiguous, or low-signal environments.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience with offensive cyber operations, cyber intelligence, red teaming, or adjacent domains.
  • Experience building products for national security customers.
  • Experience with AI-driven or agentic products and AI tools for product discovery, design, or development.
  • Background in data platforms, analytics, knowledge graphs, or complex backend systems.
  • Experience in government, defense, intelligence, or other mission-driven environments.
