Sr Network Engineer (Requires Regular Visits to the Nogales Plant)

Location: Nogales, Mexico; must live nearby and be able to commute to the manufacturing site as needed, potentially weekly

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks across global operations.
• Support AWS and Azure connectivity, network upgrades, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
• Operate and support Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
• Deploy and maintain Aruba wired and wireless network solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project delivery and operational improvements.
• Travel up to 25% and complete onsite engineering work at the Nogales manufacturing location.

Requirements

• Must be near Nogales, Mexico and able to commute to the site as needed.
• Associate degree or technical certification in a computer-related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with networking technologies and enterprise network environments.
• Experience with routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls, plus strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support network infrastructure in a 24/7 on-call model and communicate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and Azure networking.
• Familiarity with Aruba networking technologies.
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1X authentication protocols.
