What you will do
- Own, monitor, maintain, and support servers, storage, networking, and connected devices across business and manufacturing environments.
- Manage the full hardware lifecycle, including installation, maintenance, decommissioning, asset inventories, and configuration records.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and vendor connectivity.
- Support manufacturing technology such as ruggedized endpoints, thin clients, barcode scanners, label printers, smartphones, and industrial workstations.
- Collaborate with global infrastructure, network, OT, and automation teams on implementations, upgrades, incidents, and IT/OT integration.
- Respond to production-impacting incidents, automate repetitive activities, and contribute to documentation, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Experience in IT infrastructure engineering, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, production, or another complex operational environment.
- Hands-on experience with Arista, Cisco, or Fortinet networking equipment and server, storage, or data center technologies such as Dell or HPE.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switching, routing, LAN/WAN environments, and wireless infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting root causes across servers, networks, devices, and interconnected systems.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, and identity management.
- Familiarity with IT/OT environments and production-floor IT support is advantageous; scripting with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar tools is a plus.
