Network Engineer II (Network Infrastructure)

Location: Remote; open to applicants in Mexico only

Pay rate: MXN 29,000–35,000 monthly

What you will do

• Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize network hardware, software, communication links, and routing protocols.
• Assist with designing and developing LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, intrusion detection, and network access control solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve network hardware, software, and connectivity issues across network environments.
• Create and maintain documentation for logical and physical network designs, VLANs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
• Work with data center, operations, and technical teams while supporting Level I engineers with complex connectivity problems.
• Improve network infrastructure processes, telecommunications options, equipment installations, and customer service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an information technology degree is preferred.
• Five years of experience in a networking field.
• CCNA certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, organizational, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to handle non-routine network issues using sound judgment and collaborate with technical teams, leaders, and customers.
• Applicants must be located in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, A+, or OEM equipment certifications.
• Familiarity with ASTEA.
