Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure.
• Configure and support Cisco routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VPNs, ACLs, and QoS.
• Provide Level 2/3 escalation support for network incidents, outages, performance issues, and complex connectivity problems.
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage network optimization.
• Support capacity planning, system upgrades, configuration management, change management, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors on circuit installations, outages, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and enterprise network architectures.
• Experience supporting large-scale LAN/WAN environments and hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with network security concepts, VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, STP, VPNs, ACLs, and QoS.
• Proficiency with Wireshark, SolarWinds, and ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aruba wireless solutions and Aruba Central.
• Experience supporting VoIP environments and Opengear console management solutions.
• Experience with acquisitions, integrations, and network migrations.
