Senior Director, Technical Program Management (AI)

Location: Holtsville, New York, United States

Salary: $202,560–$303,840 annual, plus a target performance-based cash incentive of 30% of base pay.

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction, governance models, operating mechanisms, metrics, and execution standards for the Connected Frontline PMO organization.
• Translate portfolio strategy into integrated roadmaps and delivery plans across Mobile Computing, Software Solutions, and the CTO portfolio.
• Lead delivery and release readiness for integrated hardware, software, cloud, AI, and customer-facing solutions from concept through launch.
• Drive AI-enabled delivery practices, automation frameworks, portfolio analytics, and operational improvements across PMO teams.
• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, resolve organizational barriers, and advise senior leadership on strategic priorities.
• Oversee global PMO leaders, program managers, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and strategic external development partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a highly quantitative related field.
• 20+ years of product development experience, including New Product Introduction, external go-to-market launches, and lifecycle management.
• Experience leading R&D program execution or PMO delivery across mixed hardware and software portfolios.
• 7+ years of people management experience, including leadership of global PMO organizations with multiple management layers.
• Advanced communication, presentation, executive influence, strategic planning, conflict management, and talent development skills.
• Expertise in advanced program management approaches such as Agile, SAFe, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Advanced Engineering or an MBA.
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS products, software monetization, hardware and software portfolios, and strategic external development partners.
• Experience leading organizational transformation and operating model changes.
• Experience using AI, automation, data analytics, and enterprise portfolio visualization tools.
• PMP or Agile certifications.
