Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), Software

Location: On-site at the Santa Clara, California headquarters; US work authorization required

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 base salary plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and deliver software programs for current and future autonomous robots.
• Coordinate development of the autonomy stack, including localization, perception, navigation, robot behaviors, and fleet management.
• Manage scope, timelines, resources, risks, opportunities, and complex issues through resolution.
• Align software, hardware, operations, customer-facing teams, and leadership on objectives and deliverables.
• Guide software engineering work toward customer and product needs, including troubleshooting deployment issues.
• Streamline program and development processes while supporting continuous improvement and new product features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of program management experience developing software products for autonomous systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding software teams through advanced product development.
• Experience managing complex projects using Agile or Scrum while maintaining company milestones.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, team-building, oral, and written communication skills.
• Must have and maintain US work authorization; willing to work on-site and occasionally travel.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of program management experience in autonomous-system software development.
• Experience translating AI solutions into engineering deliverables.
• Experience managing software products deployed in live operations.
• Understanding of software and hardware development processes, system integration, and functional safety certification.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate program management.
