Senior Technical Program Manager (Software)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid role based at the Sunnyvale office

Salary: $182,400–$273,600 per year, with a target midpoint of $228,000; compensation may be adjusted based on geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate complex software development programs and technical initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans while tracking milestones, budgets, dependencies, and risks.
• Manage vendor relationships and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication across software engineering and multidisciplinary teams, escalating issues when needed.
• Drive technical decision-making and help teams reach consensus.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering Managers on team structures, cadences, and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management experience in software delivery.
• Fluency in Agile software development workflows and release management lifecycles.
• Proven success delivering complex technical projects and strong experience with software development lifecycles.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Jira, Google Drive, Confluence, GitHub, or comparable project management and software development tools; experience adopting AI for appropriate tasks is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D printing or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, Manufacturing Execution Systems, or manufacturing-focused Quality Management Systems.
• Experience shipping software to physical devices in addition to cloud-based deployments.
