Location: Onsite in Webster, Texas, United States; may require evenings, weekends, and support for 24/7 test operations.

What you will do
- Lead major testing campaigns for the AxEVA System.
- Perform end-to-end systems engineering across EVA systems, including spacesuits, flight support equipment, training equipment, ground equipment, and EVA tools.
- Define system concepts, operations, functions, interfaces, subsystem requirements, procurement specifications, and product breakdown structures.
- Create and maintain EVA system models in Cameo, covering architecture, functions, and interfaces down to the component level.
- Integrate system models with Jama to provide requirement-to-design traceability.
- Support communications architecture trade studies, verification and validation planning, integrated performance assessments, and cross-functional change-impact analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
- At least 6 years of systems engineering experience across concepts, requirements, design support, integration, and verification and validation.
- Experience with Cameo or similar tools for system modeling, architecture development, and systems development trade studies.
- Experience with UHF, Wi-Fi, and cellular/5G communications systems.
- Experience with NASA human spaceflight programs and testing spacecraft, spacesuits, or space vehicles.
- Must complete a U.S. government background investigation and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency.
Nice to have
- Experience with spacesuits.
- INCOSE CSEP certification.
- Experience in startup organizations.
