Location: Fully onsite at the Centennial, Colorado office, United States
Base salary: $105,000β$190,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do
- Define and document mission objectives, system requirements, and operational concepts with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain requirements traceability and support verification planning across multiple vehicles and systems.
- Translate customer and mission needs into engineering solutions and support system trade studies, performance evaluations, and feasibility assessments.
- Develop system-level integration and verification plans, conduct end-to-end testing, and support mission operations during testing and real-time execution.
- Coordinate with subsystem teams to troubleshoot integration challenges and prepare technical reports, presentations, and design-review inputs.
- Analyze system performance, reliability, safety, mission effectiveness, and operational risks, including collision risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applicable experience in systems engineering or a related aerospace domain.
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across hardware and software boundaries.
- Ability to support cross-functional technical teams and develop subsystem domain knowledge.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD TS/SCI or TS/SAP U.S. government security clearance.
- Compliance with U.S. space technology export regulations, including ITAR, requiring U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligible authorization.
Nice to have
- Experience with design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program.
- Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles.
- Expertise with Model-Based Systems Engineering, range certification, test readiness reviews, or safety boards.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and experience with defense or classified space missions, DoD or NASA standards, and government space programs.
