Finance ERP Application Owner (Microsoft Dynamics)

Location: Cologne, Germany; hybrid setup with occasional anchor days at the office for remote employees

What you will do

• Own the operational lifecycle of business-critical Finance ERP applications.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Manage L1/L2 application operations and coordinate complex L3 topics with ERP consultants and developers.
• Support operational readiness and validate new changes and enhancements.
• Identify recurring issues and implement sustainable improvements to application operations.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting or managing Finance business processes in an ERP or enterprise application environment.
• Knowledge of application lifecycle and IT service management principles, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive sustainable improvements.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, ERP consultants, and developers.
• Fluent English required.
• Interest in using AI and automation to improve application operations, support processes, and user experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• ITIL experience.
• German language skills.
