Finance Specialist Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects focused on finance and reporting.
• Run discovery workshops and translate finance, reporting, budgeting, and management information needs into scalable solutions.
• Configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, cash management, banking, VAT, dimensions, budgets, and financial reporting.
• Design and deliver reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical solutions using Jet Reports, Solver, Cosmos, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
• Support data migration, SIT and UAT testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, training, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, technical teams, and senior finance stakeholders while mentoring junior consultants.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV solutions.
• Strong finance and accounting background gained in a customer-facing consulting or finance systems role.
• Experience across requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, configuration, migration, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare.
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes, controls, intercompany processing, budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Experience implementing at least one reporting or planning platform, such as Jet Reports, Solver xFP&A, Cosmos, Power BI, or an equivalent.
• Strong workshop facilitation, communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple reporting and planning platforms, Continia products, or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Pre-sales experience, including discovery workshops, demonstrations, and solution estimation.
• Experience with multi-company and multi-currency implementations.
• Professional finance qualification such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent finance systems experience.
