Business Central Consultant (Finance & Controlling)

What you will do

• Consult, design, and optimize Finance & Controlling processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Support international rollouts and multi-company setups, including consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, localizations, and country-specific finance requirements.
• Conduct gap-fit analyses and translate business requirements into implementation and enhancement solutions.
• Implement month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing requirements, including dimensions, cost centers, and intercompany postings.
• Design financial reporting solutions using Account Schedules / Financial Reports, Power BI, Lucanet, or similar tools.
• Configure finance functionality, create solution specifications, run workshops, and deliver documentation and user training in collaboration with business departments and BC developers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Central Consultant with a focus on Finance & Controlling.
• Strong knowledge of Business Central standard functionality, Continia solutions, and BC Finance modules including G/L, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, and Budgets.
• Experience with finance, accounting, controlling, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS, as well as GoBD requirements.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants or owning parts of projects.
• Ability to work on-site in Metzingen / Riederich, Germany.
