DRAM Product Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and execute DRAM test strategies covering functional, timing, signal integrity, and reliability failure modes.
• Diagnose issues across logical, architectural, and physical domains, including cell behavior, addressing, timing margins, and interface interactions.
• Build, modify, and maintain simulation models for DRAM behavior, interfaces, and test scenarios.
• Use simulation, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling to investigate corner cases, failure mechanisms, performance margins, yield, and reliability.
• Correlate logical representations such as addresses and transactions with physical implementations including cells, banks, rows, columns, wires, and timing paths.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, and manufacturing teams to improve memory test techniques, product quality, and reliability.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of DRAM architecture, operation, interfaces, failure modes, testing, and characterization.
• Understanding of advanced CMOS circuit behavior and its impact on memory operation.
• Experience applying statistics to hardware testing and characterization.
• Strong mathematical skills for modeling, analysis, and test development.
• Ability to reason across abstraction levels, from physical circuits to logical test algorithms.

Nice to have

• Experience with memory testing, silicon bring-up, and failure analysis.
• Exposure to SPICE or equivalent circuit-level simulation.
• Experience analyzing high-volume test data and yield trends.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or system-level memory test environments.
