Board Test Engineer (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain board and PCBA manufacturing test content for complex, high-power, high-speed boards.
• Implement and debug ICT, boundary scan/JTAG, and functional test coverage.
• Design and support functional test solutions, including fixtures, probes, cabling, instrumentation, and automated test stations.
• Develop MCU-based test firmware for manufacturing diagnostics, self-tests, and telemetry validation.
• Develop PCIe board-level tests and investigate assembly defects, component failures, solder issues, and manufacturing marginalities.
• Support offshore EMS/CM test-station bring-up, fixture qualification, tester correlation, yield analysis, documentation, and ongoing test maintenance.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of board or PCBA test engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with functional test development, ICT, and boundary scan/JTAG.
• Experience designing or supporting test fixtures and automated test stations.
• Working knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces and board-level failure modes.
• Experience developing or supporting embedded test firmware on MCUs.
• Strong debugging skills across digital logic, power delivery, and interconnect issues, with the ability to work with offshore manufacturing partners.

Nice to have

• Experience testing AI accelerator, GPU, networking ASIC, or other high-power device boards.
• Familiarity with high-current VRMs, multiphase power converters, and power integrity testing.
• Production test experience with PCIe Gen5/Gen6 or other high-speed serial links.
• Experience using factory data systems and yield analysis to improve test coverage and throughput.
• Experience supporting board test through NPI, ramp, and sustained production.
