Test Rig Engineer (Hardware)

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operation of tray and rack-level engineering test and validation rigs.
• Plan, set up, and execute test campaigns against engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot rig faults and drive them to resolution.
• Review test data for quality and validity before feeding it into analysis pipelines.
• Contribute to the final design, component procurement, and commissioning of test rigs.
• Install and wire thermocouples, sensors, and signal instrumentation.

Requirements

• Experience operating test rigs or lab hardware, ideally in thermal, fluids, or electronics cooling contexts.
• Confident with data analysis, including sanity-checking results and structuring output.
• Comfortable with low-voltage wiring, thermocouples, and sensor signals.
• Practical troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to rig maintenance.
• Ability to size and specify components and manage procurement processes.

• Hands-on capability with 3D printers, CNC, or workshop tooling.
