TL;DR
Device Repair / Maintenance Technician (electronics and robotics hardware): Diagnosing, repairing, refurbishing, and functionally retesting returned robotics devices with an accent on component-level repair, soldering, and accurate failure documentation. Focus on meeting repair throughput targets, identifying recurring failure modes, and feeding repair data into reliability and testing systems.

Location: On-site in Shenzhen, China

What you will do

  • Diagnose, repair, and refurbish returned or failed devices through component swaps, disassembly, reassembly, and retesting.
  • Meet repair throughput and turnaround targets so devices return to the field on a predictable cycle.
  • Record failure modes and repair actions accurately as input for failure analysis and reliability systems.
  • Run basic functional tests on repaired units before deployment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on electronics or hardware repair experience.
  • Practical experience with soldering, small-assembly disassembly and reassembly, and component-level work.
  • Careful and consistent documentation habits, treating repair logs as data.
  • Comfort following test and repair procedures and flagging recurring issues.
  • Mandarin proficiency and on-site availability in China are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience repairing consumer electronics, cameras, or wearables at volume.
  • Familiarity with test fixtures and basic diagnostic tools.
