What you will do

  • Act as the domain authority for lithography and etch materials within semiconductor reverse-engineering AI products.
  • Analyze patents, academic literature, and technical data to reconstruct material formulations, process parameters, and performance characteristics.
  • Design and maintain standardized extraction templates, field specifications, and database frameworks optimized for AI training and reasoning.
  • Clean, normalize, and govern materials and process data, including quality criteria, traceability, and version control.
  • Conduct comparative analysis to identify material traits, performance differences, and process trade-offs.
  • Transfer domain logic and data insights to AI and product teams supporting intelligent search, benchmarking, and process recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Materials, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in photoresist, etch materials, materials R&D, process development, failure analysis, technical intelligence, or data research.
  • Thorough understanding of lithography and etch process flows and material systems, including material properties and process correlations.
  • Strong logical thinking and data awareness, with the ability to convert complex scientific research into structured data.
  • Clear cross-functional communication skills and the ability to transfer domain knowledge to global team members.
  • Advanced programming or software development experience, such as Python or SQL, is not required.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a leading semiconductor manufacturer or top-tier materials supplier.
  • Experience developing materials databases, process parameter libraries, or technical knowledge repositories.
  • Hands-on experience in patent analysis, material teardown, or failure analysis.
  • Familiarity with materials informatics tools, database management, or data annotation workflows.
  • Interest in AI-enabled materials research and digital applications of process data.
