Sr. Director, Accounting Operations

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $247,000–$271,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead and scale Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, and Payroll operations.
• Develop standardized procure-to-pay and order-to-cash procedures to support growth and IPO readiness.
• Lead the migration of accounting data from legacy systems to NetSuite.
• Integrate accounting processing functions for acquired companies and align them with company policies and reporting standards.
• Design and maintain SOX and COSO-based internal controls for SEC-compliant, audit-ready operations.
• Lead and develop the accounting operations team while partnering with Controllers, FP&A, Legal, IT, Finance, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a complex, multi-entity organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-grade ERP systems and automated procurement platforms such as Zip.
• Proven experience integrating accounting operations after material acquisitions.
