Staff Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: USA - Any Location (Remote). Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 base salary annually, plus performance bonus, RSUs, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead complex technical programs spanning web, mobile, medical devices, embedded software, firmware, and data platforms.
• Drive end-to-end execution from initiation through launch across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Design, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
• Manage technical dependencies, risks, issues, mitigation plans, milestones, dashboards, and success metrics.
• Facilitate architecture, systems integration, scalability, and technical trade-off discussions with engineers and architects.
• Improve delivery processes, mentor Technical Program Managers, and shape TPM operating models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience.
• Experience managing programs in healthcare technology, life sciences, medical devices, or another regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, system integration, and security principles.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, or similar program management and collaboration tools.
• Strong risk management, communication, stakeholder management, influence, and negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading hardware, firmware, and regulated medical device programs from concept through launch.
• Experience with consumer iOS or Android platforms and PDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, responsible AI, model governance, and compliance.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Lean, Agile, Scrum, or related certifications.
• Experience mentoring TPMs, improving organizational processes, and leading enterprise platform integrations.
