Principal Technical Program Manager (Imaging)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States; hybrid with onsite work required at least 60% of the working month, approximately three days per week

Base pay: $214,000–$268,000 per year; discretionary annual performance bonus may also apply

What you will do

• Support the VP of Imaging in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and cross-platform imaging technology projects.
• Own programs end to end, from planning and resource allocation through execution and delivery.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, metrics, and status reporting.
• Manage technical dependencies, identify roadblocks, and implement solutions for projects with significant uncertainty.
• Facilitate communication among imaging scientists, engineers, AI researchers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Document outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices while adapting project methods to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in bioengineering, imaging sciences, computational engineering, image modeling, or a related technical field; a Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, preferably in imaging technology, AI research, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of AIxBio, imaging technologies, image modeling, and lab automation.
• Proven success delivering multidisciplinary scientific and technical projects with technical, scientific, and industry partners.
• Ability to evaluate and implement project management methodologies and tools, take ownership of problems, and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
