Technical Program Manager - Implementation Lead (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada, Toronto

Salary: CAD 98,000–123,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, client-facing technical programs across platform, cloud operations, product engineering, data, and security.
• Define scope, success metrics, milestones, integrated plans, dependencies, risks, and release plans for cloud, GenAI, reliability, and platform initiatives.
• Coordinate engineering, product, design, QA, infrastructure, security, business, leadership, and client stakeholders.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, technical deep dives, architecture discussions, and program synchronization across distributed teams.
• Own program KPIs, reporting, governance, and data-driven course corrections to improve reliability, delivery velocity, cloud adoption, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure production readiness across security, scalability, performance, disaster recovery, compliance, and operational health while managing client, vendor, contract, and SLA dependencies.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in technical program management for complex, multi-team software initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile or hybrid delivery models, and collaboration with engineering, product, operations, and security teams.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, distributed multi-tenant SaaS, cloud systems, platform engineering, reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Experience designing metrics-driven programs, defining KPIs, building dashboards or reporting mechanisms, and using data to guide decisions.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Aha!, Confluence, Google Sheets, or comparable planning and tracking tools.
• Strong stakeholder communication, executive-level technical communication, change management, and ability to apply AI and data-driven insights in the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud operations, platform reliability, AI/ML or GenAI features, or large-scale data platforms.
• Exposure to P&C insurance or another highly regulated industry in cloud or SaaS environments.
• Vendor management experience, including SLAs, contracts, and external dependencies.
• Experience with cloud, AI, or data platform transformations balancing operational excellence and innovation.
