Senior Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: New York, New York, USA; hybrid workplace

Salary: $184,000–$230,000 USD yearly, plus equity and potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Own large cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering organizations, product, and business functions.
• Surface systemic risks, cross-team dependencies, and organizational friction before they become escalations.
• Build KPI-based visibility for senior leadership on high-priority initiatives.
• Engineer AI-powered automation for program lifecycles, risk synthesis, dependency tracking, stakeholder mapping, and program templates.
• Lead deep technical, cross-functional, product delivery, and operational programs through alignment and completion.
• Make judgment calls on escalation, pacing, and technical decisions with organizational impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience driving large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs to completion with minimal direction.
• Hands-on technical depth in observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML systems, including model training pipelines, ML infrastructure, and GPU compute.
• Ability to discuss architecture and system design credibly with staff engineers and senior individual contributors.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including ownership of narratives at VP and executive levels.
• Active use of AI tools and experience building tools, templates, or automated workflows used by others.

Nice to have

• Experience identifying systemic problems and building operating systems to solve them.
• Experience automating program lifecycles or workflows that previously required manual coordination.
• Experience managing programs with unit-economics implications such as cloud costs, capacity, or margin.
