Senior Construction Project Engineer, EPC

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; onsite construction role

hirify.global is building a localized circular battery supply chain by recovering, reusing, and recycling lithium-ion batteries into materials for new battery production.

What you will do

• Manage assigned construction scopes from preconstruction through completion and start of production.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, utilities, structures, vendor tool installations, materials, equipment, and production schedules.
• Track project budgets, cost coding, financial inputs, daily production, schedule performance, and timecards.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement and RFPs, shop drawings, specifications, permits, inspections, and close-out documentation.
• Identify schedule, budget, material, equipment, and process risks and recommend corrective solutions.
• Coordinate field layout, quality assurance, job hazard analyses, safety meetings, estimating support, and technical input for design drawings and work plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of construction engineering, scheduling, or design experience.
• Construction engineering knowledge and familiarity with construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, and applicable standards.
• Intermediate knowledge of cost coding, cost savings, budgets, project financial implications, and scheduling processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, take ownership, communicate effectively, and build productive relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a self-directed approach to learning and professional growth.
