Legal Operations Manager

Location: New York City office; hybrid work with in-person collaboration required at least three days per week

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 base salary, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Own legal contract lifecycle management, including intake, routing, templates, repositories, and reporting.
• Run and improve legal intake and triage workflows from request classification through closure.
• Administer and optimize CLM, legal spend, and matter-management tools.
• Build dashboards and reporting for contract cycle time, request volume, workload, and SLA performance.
• Maintain legal playbooks, templates, and knowledge-management resources.
• Manage outside counsel operations, legal budget visibility, operational cadences, and support for M&A or other one-off transactions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in legal operations, business operations, or a similar role, ideally in a high-growth technology company.
• Hands-on experience administering CLM systems and legal technology in a production environment.
• Experience improving processes and reducing cycle time or operational costs.
• Ability to build and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting used by legal leadership.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across Legal, RevOps, Sales Ops, Finance, IT, and Security.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-growing company.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic workflows for legal and operations work.
• Experience with outside counsel management, legal spend tracking, or matter management.
• Experience scaling a legal operations function.
• CLOC involvement or comparable community engagement.
