Area Manager I (Warehouse Operations)

Location: CVG2 - Hebron, KY, United States; onsite distribution center work required

What you will do

• Lead and develop warehouse associates and operations leads to achieve daily operational goals.
• Execute inventory accuracy processes, including bin accuracy, shrink control, and discrepancy investigation.
• Use warehouse and order management systems, workload planning tools, and material handling equipment to complete scheduled workloads.
• Work with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and operations leadership to resolve operational and personnel issues.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Maintain quality standards across multiple warehouse functions and ensure orders are fulfilled to required standards.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience with warehouse management or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience and a bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, interpersonal, and basic data-entry skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, work independently, manage details accurately, and build effective working relationships.
• Ability to use relevant material handling equipment, including forklifts, and transport up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a distribution center with varying heights and temperatures, moderate consistent noise, and occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methods.
