Mainframe/ITOM (IBM/Rocket ITOM)

Location: Remote — United States; all time zones considered. Minimal to no travel anticipated.

Salary: $115,100–$213,700 per year.

What you will do

• Administer and maintain the IBM/Rocket ITOM report management platform, including configuration, access provisioning, and environment health monitoring.
• Set up Product Admin reports by defining parameters, schedules, formatting, and output routing.
• Manage distribution data entry, recipient mapping, routing rules, and delivery validation.
• Troubleshoot report generation failures, distribution errors, and platform performance issues.
• Align reporting outputs with SLA and KPI requirements in collaboration with infrastructure operations teams.
• Document SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles; automate workflows and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience administering IBM/Rocket ITOM report management tools.
• Experience with Product Admin report setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience with distribution data entry services, recipient management, routing rules, and delivery validation.
• Experience in large-scale, multi-client managed services environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise ITOM processes, report scheduling, output formatting, automated distribution pipelines, and ITSM workflows.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• ITIL service management knowledge and ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
• Experience with Control-M, Automic, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM platforms.
• Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or shell.
• IBM Certified Administrator certification for a relevant product line.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing IT environments.
