IT Operations Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, United States

Annual base salary: $100,000–$155,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Provision, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware, software, network services, and related infrastructure supporting R&D.
• Manage the day-to-day operation, security, and maintenance of hirify.global’s infrastructure.
• Develop automation tools and integrations with central IT services.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and network issues, including short-notice travel for network troubleshooting when required.
• Plan short- and long-term IT goals, follow change-management procedures, and document configurations, installations, and maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to resolve operational challenges and streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2–3 years of relevant experience; 3–5 years is preferred.
• Experience with Meraki network hardware and its web interface, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and common services including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as Nagios, Splunk, CheckMK, or Datadog.
• Basic understanding of network technologies and protocols, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or interest in hirify.global, Ansible, Python, Windows and Linux shell scripting, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, Jenkins, or Cloudflare is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
