Commercial Property Claims Supervisor

What you will do

• Supervise property claims adjusters across different levels of complexity.
• Coach, mentor, train, and evaluate adjuster performance while supporting hiring, onboarding, and workload distribution.
• Review complex and high-exposure commercial property claims, guide claim strategy, approve settlements within assigned authority, and ensure appropriate reserves and documentation.
• Monitor claim cycle time, quality assurance, productivity, and other operational performance metrics.
• Identify and implement operational improvements and provide reporting and performance insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, engineers, and other specialists involved in claim investigations and repairs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of property claims handling experience.
• Adjuster licensing as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, evaluation, and settlement practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with complex or high-value property claims, commercial or large-loss claims, and prior supervision is preferred.
• Experience with Xactimate, property estimating tools, vendor repair networks, or industry designations such as AIC or CPCU is preferred.
