Senior Operational Auditor (Capital Projects, Supply Chain & Inventory)

Location: USA Remote & Travel; up to 30% travel may be required to customer or supplier locations.

Salary: $101,000–$138,600 base annual compensation, varying by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Perform operational audits of large capital construction projects, project execution and monitoring functions, supply chain operations, and inventory management.
• Evaluate operational effectiveness, risk management, governance, and internal controls.
• Analyze data sets, identify insights, and create dashboards or presentations using analytics tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders during audit fieldwork.
• Develop recommendations for compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Prepare clear audit reports, management presentations, and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in capital projects, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to travel by car or air to customer or supplier locations; a valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with ERP or project systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Procore is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, ISO, or PMP are a plus.
