Technician 3, Manufacturing Equipment (SMT)

What you will do

• Support continuous production shifts and maintain SMT equipment performance against uptime, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle-time targets.
• Report online machine status and issues to the equipment engineering leader and engineer.
• Perform line conversions and complete FAI activities.
• Operate and troubleshoot SMT machines including NXT, DEK, BTU, AOI, Asymtek, V510, VCO, and RBM.
• Support downtime reduction, utilization improvement, and MTBA/MTBF improvement initiatives.
• Support engineering projects, train operators, and manage spare-part replacement records.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and SMT equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, machine troubleshooting, alarm handling, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to check shift machine status, perform conversions, generate reports, and analyze machine alarms.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and write in English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and root cause analysis.
