Die Attach Equipment Technician (Datacon)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; onsite work with normal and shift hours, including weekends and public holidays when required

What you will do

• Maintain and repair Die Attach integrated production lines, including loaders, unloaders, die attach equipment, AOI, and reflow ovens.
• Set up and convert equipment for product changes across the integrated line.
• Identify, source, and procure critical spare parts and tooling, including second-source options.
• Maintain equipment performance against defined goals and support weekly production targets.
• Improve FC OEE, MTBA/MTBF, preventive maintenance effectiveness, and unscheduled downtime.
• Manage machine maintenance activities, fabricate spare parts, and resolve machine-related quality issues through root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Die Attach equipment such as Datacon 8800 FC QUANTUM is required; experience with Hanwha Die Attach equipment is preferred.
• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, or another engineering discipline, or a certificate with at least 5 years of relevant Die Attach equipment experience.
• Experience with semiconductor assembly, production environments, process handling, and front-end and back-end assembly equipment.
• Good technical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work long hours and shifts, with disciplined and independent execution.
• Ability to follow NXP quality, safety, trust, respect, collaboration, ownership, expertise, innovation, and growth standards.

Nice to have

• Experience applying statistics in semiconductor assembly.
• Experience with Hanwha Die Attach equipment.
