Technician 4, Test Equipment Maintenance

What you will do

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test cells, testers, baggers, VDCS, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Investigate test-cell yield and quality incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Perform product conversions, equipment checklists, repairs, adjustments, and downtime recovery.
• Monitor process variables and maintenance performance using KPOV, OEE tracking, maintenance logs, and digital preventive maintenance systems.
• Support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement projects, engineers’ daily activities, and special projects.
• Train team members on test equipment and follow ISO, safety, documentation, and cleanroom requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or advanced/higher/graduate qualification in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• 4–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Hands-on knowledge of motors, bearings, gears, conveyors, pumps, compressors, AC/DC systems, three-phase power, sensors, relays, and drives.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and pressure controls.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and equipment manuals, isolate failures, and correct equipment issues.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE usage, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Nice to have

• Basic PLC and automation or controls troubleshooting experience.
• Exposure to preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, alignment tools, torque wrenches, and calipers.
