Technician 2, Manufacturing Process (Shift)

Location: Onsite in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia; rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve process deviations, yield losses, alarms, and abnormal manufacturing conditions.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process-related equipment and systems.
• Analyze recurring process failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support process qualification, parameter optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document shift status and hand over pending issues and interventions to the next shift.
• Train operators on process procedures, SOPs, safe handling practices, and competency requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Understanding of process control and quality fundamentals.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong analytical and systematic process troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, including 5S housekeeping.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) or process monitoring tools.
