Hardware Operations Manager (Digital Health)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $156,000–$234,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end hardware technical NPI programs from concept through launch and sustaining phases.
• Develop strategic and tactical roadmaps across hardware engineering, software engineering, supply chain, and regulatory teams in the US and Asia.
• Lead software platform implementation and integration with hardware products.
• Monitor program metrics, risks, and milestones, and report them to senior leadership.
• Drive cost optimization while maintaining product quality and delivery timelines.
• Improve hardware operations and technical program management processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in hardware operations, technical program management, or a related field.
• 3+ years managing cross-functional teams and projects in hardware/software environments.
• 3+ years of experience implementing and integrating software platforms with hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related technical field.
• Experience delivering complex hardware products on time and within budget, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in San Francisco, United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Experience in medical devices or digital health.
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies in hardware development.
• Experience leading programs with US and Asia-based stakeholders.
