Hardware Technical Program Manager (Energy Storage)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; willingness to travel to company sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturers as needed

Salary: $153,000–$248,500 USD per year

hirify.global is localizing the global battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery-material production in the United States.

What you will do

• Drive hardware program execution from requirements and design through validation, new product introduction, and production ramp.
• Lead cross-functional work across mechanical, electrical, firmware, industrial design, test, and manufacturing engineering.
• Plan and manage prototype and production builds, including materials, logistics, and factory readiness.
• Oversee board and flex releases, system integration, and DVT, PVT, and mass-production validation builds.
• Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers on DFM/DFT reviews, yield improvement, and issue resolution.
• Maintain build plans, risk registers, dashboards, schedules, and stakeholder updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware program management, hardware engineering, or manufacturing operations.
• Proven success delivering NPI builds and scaling hardware programs to volume production.
• Strong understanding of box-level assemblies, including PCBs, flex circuits, harnesses, enclosures, and thermal systems.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work in high-ambiguity environments.
• Must be located in San Francisco, California, United States and willing to travel as needed.
